If GTA 4 really is a casual gamers delight, it won't matter about any console war. It won't matter how hard Microsoft screams from the rooftops. They will only think of the Playstation brand. It is what they've been playing for the past 13 years.
You guys are sort of missing the point. It isn't just about games. Although, PS3 has more than enough quality titles. I use my PS3 for everything (except washing dishes). It's the best multimedia unit out there. Superior to Microsofts designed flawed console any day of the week. Some people might see it as an afterthought, but it's a damn sweet one.
But Nintendo 64 and the original XBOX are now nothing but afterthoughts. However people still think about PS2. You're in the minority, sorry.
Let me see. The PS3 just an after thought. Isn't that what Toshiba thought about PS3! We know what happened there. And, Paramount and Dreamworks underestimated the power of PS3 as well. But they were wrong. Even Microsoft, with their defects, are now thinking about Blu-ray (or at least the missed opportunity). It seems allot of people have underestimated the system. at least Microsoft are doing the right thing here. They're reducing the price so you'll still have enough money left to put a payment down on a PS3. Which is what you'll want after you have played it.

The PS2 is now entering its 8th year, and is still selling strong. And it's taking a big long leak over the dead bodies of the XBOX and Gamecube. That is just sooo wrong isn't it.
Even the mighty Forza 2, can't get close to this game! And it's fans are LEGION. This is gonna sell alot of PS3's. We'll see how right I am, very soon!
